Line 2 : Extension to El Monieb |

National Authority for Tunnels has let contracts for the detailes design and construction of the fifth phase which will take the line further to the south from
Giza suburban station up to the Cairo Ring Road at El Monieb . This extension is 2.5 km long and will have two station
at Sekiat Mekkey and El Monieb. This will facilitate the interchange of passengers with other modes of transport.
